N44-7X stylus for Shure M35X
Tracking at 1,5g - 3g N44-7X is the closest replacement to N35X in terms of specs.
N44GX stylus for Shure M35X
If you prefer a lower tracking force you can use N44GX as an alternative. The recommended tracking force of N44GX is 0,75g to 1,5g.
Upgrade styli for Shure M35S/M35X
JICO made a SAS version for SC35C which is interchangeable with M35. The tracking force of a SAS stylus is 1,0g to 1,5g with 1,25g optimum.

The Shure SC35C, M35S, M35X, M44GX and M44-7X are all primarily built for DJ use. But the musicality, bodily presence and dynamic punch of these cartridges is loved by many audiophiles who values the way this cartridge can present the soloist extremely lively.
A new stylus will give new and well deserved extended life to the really well built and well sounding Shure body.
Depending on your sound preferences, HiFi gear and budget you have the choice of almost any kind of stylus from spherical to the high-end SAS stylus from Jico. The latter has obtained an almost legendary reputation for its performance with and complementarity with Shure cartridge bodies. Mounted on one of the above mentioned cartridge bodies a JICO SAS stylus will take listening experience to a completely new level.
Our aftermarket styli are of as high quality as the originals. The aim for our producers is to deliver the same specifications in terms of form and vertical tracking force. The stylus might however sound a little different than the original stylus. Not better - not worse - just different.
