This stylus is used for many different branded cartridges. The special thing about this stylus is that it has a plastic shank.
Because this model has a plastic shank and not a metal shank as most other styli, it is our experience that it is important that this plastic shank must be precisely made and has no burrs. Small burrs around the shank can make it very difficult or important to insert the stylus and may damage the stylus or the cartridge house in the mounting process.
DaCapo Audio’s assortment of styli therefore only consists of products that align with our quality requirements. Therefore we do not sell the cheapest copies.
