ND-200G is the spherical stylus for Sony XL-20G/XL-200. The original was a 0,6mil diamond stylus. The elliptical ND-200E can be used interchangeably. For both the spherical and the elliptical stylus the recommended tracking force of the original styli were 1,0g - 2,0g with 1,5g optimum.

ND-200G and ND-200E are replacement stylus for Sony's XL-20 and XL-200 cartridge. They can be used interchangeably and even share a recommended tracking force between 1,0g and 2,0g (1,5g optimum). This means an upgrade (or downgrade) should happen easily without the need for changing settings. Still we do advice to check the actual tracking force applied with a stylus pressure gauge or stylus weight.
XL-20 / ND-200E was fitted on for example Sony PS-X55, PS-X600, PS-FL5 record Players. XL-200 / ND-200G was fitted to for example Sony PS-FL3.
