The Elac BST 406 Cartridge with part number 14 190 8423 can be fitted with either a SNM 406 or a DMSN 406 type stylus.
The original SNM 406 stylus with part number 13 153 8421 had a 65um tip for 78 RPM playback and a 17um tip for stereo playback. Both tips were sapphire.
The original DMSN 406 stylus with part number 13 153 8126 had a 65um sapphire for 78 RPM playback and a 17um diamond for stereo playback
