After Shure seized all production of cartridges and replacement needles original replacements are no longer available. Fortunately the Japanese manufacturer of high quality replacement needles JICO since then released several variants that will keep your Shure Whitelabel cartridge going. And with the most recent addition of ”Nude” replacements your White label can now sound as good as ever.
The JICO N-WHLB NUDE stylus uses a whole diamond mounted directly to the cantilever. On our high quality product images you can easily see the big clear diamond. This gives a lower mass and more direct movement where it matters the most. The result is a refined sound especially in the top end, while still preserving the Whitelabel signature sound.
JICO's bonded N-WHLB (Not NUDE) is no longer available. Today JICO is only producing nude replacement styli and with this you get a more refined stylus at a slightly higher price. The NUDE stylus is perfectly interchangeable with the old bonded version, so this upgrade is easy and inexpensive.
The JICO N-WHLB comes in two versions the normal N-WHLB NUDE and N-WHLB AURORA NUDE. The only difference is that the stylus grip is ”Glow in the Dark” on the Aurora. In all other senses the two versions are identical.
Single Pack and Pair Pack
Both JICO N-WHLB NUDE and JICO N-WHLB AURORA NUDE are sold in single pack and pair pack. There is a significant saving when buying the pair pack with two styli over two single packs.
N-WHLB comes in JICO’s exclusive JICO Custom Shop packaging. Product pictures are available to show this packaging.

The original replacement stylus for the Shure Whitelabel Cartridge was called N-WHLB or N-WHLB-Z when sold in blister packaging. N-WHLB / N-WHLB-Z is the same stylus. Only the packaging differs and our JICO replacements replaces both N-WHLB and Z-WHLB.
