Shure's M-55 cartridge has offered outstanding performance since the early 1960's. Fortunately still today several options for replacement styli exist - both the original Shure N-55 E stylus and high quality aftermarket styli from for example JICO. We stock them all for immediate dispatch.
Other cartridges using N55 styli
The Shure M80E cartridge designed specifically for the Garrard Lab 80 and Type A70 series automatic turntables use N55 styli. Any replacement on this page will work in a Shure M80E cartridge.
M80E-D used in the Dual 1009 Automatic turntable uses N55 replacement styli. Please use one of the N55 replacements found on this page for your M80E-D.
Finally the M80E-D19 cartridge as found on the Dual 1019 and Dual 1009SK automomatic turntables also use N55 styli.
