Sumiko Pearl MM Cartridge

The Sumiko Pearl pickup is a step up from the little brother Sumiko Black Pearl. It comes with an elliptical stylus which delivers a more refined treble reproduction.

The Sumiko Pearl has over the years grown it’s own reputation thanks to it’s warm and mellow sound. And at the same time the Pearl cartridge from Sumiko has a well defined sound with a broad soundstage and firm bass. A sound that has secured The Pearl it’s popularity over the years.

The Sumiko Pearl is a Moving Magnet cartridge which gives you the possibility to change the stylus when it is worn out.

To get the full benefit of this fine Sumiko cartridge it is essential to mount it properly in terms of overhang, azimut and horizontal alignment.  The finer the stylus the more important correct setup is.
