Audio Technica VM540ML Cartridge

Audio Technica’s AT-VM540ML features dual magnets and a MicroLine® stylus on aluminium cantilever in a durable low resonance polymer housing.

It is available in two versions 

AT-VM540ML - cartridge only without headshell (half-inch mount allows convenient mounting in most headshells)

AT-VM540ML/H - cartridge factory pre-mounted in Audio Technica AT-HS10BK Headshell.

The Audio Technica VM540ML is, like all VM500 cartridges, equipped with dual magnets that are positioned to match the left and right channels in the stereo record groove for outstanding channel separation and extended frequency response. 

The VM540ML from Audio Technica comes with the MicroLine® stylus that allows it to trace the record groove with great accuracy. Therefore you will experience a nuanced audio reproduction that elliptical and conical styli simply can’t match. The stylus’ multilevel shape also wears better than other styli, while reducing the wear on your records. 

Please notice that proper setup and alignment of refined stylus tips like MicroLine® and Shibata is essential for best performance.
