Audio Technica AT-OC9XML MC Cartridge

The nude Microlinear stylus has great tracking ability, clear warm sound and low surface noise. In addition this extremely fine Microlinear stylus tip of the Audio Technica AT-OC9XML is mounted nude on a 0.28 mm diameter solid boron cantilever which emphasizes the qualities of the stylus.

The Dual Moving Coil technology of the Audio Technica AT-OC9XML is designed to provide outstanding channel separation. The Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting (PCOCC) coils ensure pure audio transmission and are aligned in a reverse V-shaped formation to exert less pressure on the stylus, thereby minimizing distortion.

The audio quality of the AT-OC9ML is further enhanced by a rigid aluminum body that reduces resonance, a neodymium magnet and premium permendur yoke that increase the magnetic energy. 

Audio Technica AT-OC9XML has the universal ½”-mount and threaded inserts in the cartridge body, which enable the cartridge to be mounted to the headshell with just two screws.

We recommend around 20 hours break-in.
