This Audio Technica AT33Sa is the top of the line in the Audio Technica AT33 program and is the first Audio Technica moving coil cartridge with Shibata stylus. The Shibata stylus is a very fine tip and, when aligned correctly, gives superior high-range performance and strong warm mids and bass with plenty of detail and definition.
Like the other cartridges in the AT33 series the Audio Technica AT33Sa has the Dual Moving Coil cartridge design that increases channel separation and extends the frequency response range delivering extraordinary audio quality. Internally constructed with neodymium magnet for enhanced magnetic energy and PCOCC wire for pure audio transmission
Audio Technica AT33Sa has the universal ½”-mount for versatile mounting in a huge variety of headshells. We recommend the beautiful lightweight Audio Technica MG10 headshell with threaded inserts to partner this cartridge.
We recommend around 20 hours break-in.
