N91E Stylus for Shure M91E
Shure's M91E uses the black N91E stylus. The cartridge was fitted on several turntables from other brands such as Garrard and Dual. In these applications the cartridge was called M91E-50H, M91E-D12, M91E-GSL and M91E-P20, M911E, M9111E.

N91ED Stylus for Shure M91ED
The ED offered increased trackability over the E due to it's nude mounted biradial elliptical diamond. Shure's recommendation was to upgrade from the black E to the yellow ED stylus for improved performance. This popular cartridge was fitted on many turntables from other brands and referred to as M91ED-BJ, M91ED-DL, M91ED-GS, M91ED-GSL, M91ED-GZ, M91ED-PE, M91ED-PT, M912ED, M919ED, 2224 and 755.

Many hi-fi enthusiasts like the warm and pleasant, but still detailed and engaging vintage sound from the renowned Shure M-91 cart. A sound that many prefer over modern cartridges. A new stylus will give new and a well deserved extended life to the well-built Shure M91 housing.
The Shure M91 cartridge, together with Shure M75, is one of the most sold cartridges ever. Shure M91 comes in many variations, but all our Shure N91 needles fit all variants of the Shure M91 cartridge body.
Choose the stylus version you prefer while observing that the different variations of N91 have different recommended tracking forces. If you need our advice while choosing we are happy to assist you.
The M91 variants were referred to by a wealth of names. For example as M91ED-GZ when pre-mounted on to Garrard Zero 100 turntables and M91ED-DL when pre-mounted to Dual 1200 Series turntables.
